So, now what do I like ordering when I’m there? Basically, I usually gravitate to their famous Tsunami Shrimp Tacos. They, I mean, are absolute dynamite! Think about this: the freshest, crispy shrimp get drizzled with this very, very tangy sauce, piled high on warm tortillas, then topped with some tropical salsa, very nice! Then comes the main courses. Then again, that choice can sometimes be a bit tricky because it is pretty awesome overall. A bit, a little bit. Do you sometimes get to feel the joy I do? Anyhow, those fish offerings can certainly feel just right.

For a fun fact: so, basically the Black Pelican actually occupies the site of the old US Coast Guard Station back in the day. A matter of fact, so it’s a historically relevant place that really blends into the amazing and memorable scenery of the Outer Banks. Anyway, the restaurant basically displays historic photos, which usually highlight a colorful past from Kitty Hawk and the life-saving stations. I mean, just imaging you get good food and you have a fun chat that you can start after seeing those photos.
