What’s Included (and What’s Not) on This Multi-City Trip
What a trip includes can truly make or break the whole experience. With this four-day whirlwind, the basics are certainly covered, yet it’s a bit important to know the nuances. Generally speaking, you’re getting transportation round trip from New York City in a comfy motor coach, plus lodging each night, so it’s more or less a no-brainer there. Yet, the guided tours at each destination – Niagara Falls, D.C., and Philly, of course – give great insight. Keep in mind though, it usually does not cover your meals, most activities, or entry fees to attractions; so it’s perhaps wise to keep that in mind as you figure out your overall budget.

Day 1: Chasing Waterfalls at Niagara Falls
Get ready for a longer travel day up to Niagara Falls! The tour starts in New York City, where you hop on a coach for what might be about a seven-hour trip. When you arrive, the American side is there for you, so you’ll possibly be able to check out places such as the famous Niagara Falls State Park. Depending on when you arrive and other conditions, an optional “Maid of the Mist” boat ride might be up for consideration. Just so you know, you get pretty close to the falls and have unforgettable memories that are absolutely very amazing! Once your visit concludes, that is when you usually find lodging in the Niagara area, to have a refreshing start to your morning.

Day 2: From Niagara to Washington, D.C.
Expect to leave New York pretty early that day, and plan on spending almost the entire day making your way to Washington, D.C.. It might be very tiring to make the commute across multiple states but is really only half the battle, very. Make the most of it and relax on the drive. When you reach D.C., the itinerary often goes with an evening walk by the memorials like the Lincoln Memorial, maybe giving you some really stunning views of the National Mall all lit up at night; which can be memorable, certainly.

Day 3: Exploring the Nation’s Capital
Today is all about taking in Washington, D.C.! Get ready for a good day. More or less, the guided tours will bring you past quite a few popular locations such as the White House and the Capitol Building; that is the plan anyways. You might have a chance to explore some of the Smithsonian museums that have fascinating exhibits. Typically you’ll be able to visit some moving places like the World War II Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial too, but I really do recommend you allow a sufficient amount of time. How the evening is planned out usually hinges on any additional activities that you have already laid out to your plan, from a delicious meal in town to just finding some R&R.
