San Bernardino, that city often gets looked over, too it’s actually packed with unexpected artistic places and cool hubs that many folks just don’t know exist to explore. So, if you’re up for more than the usual spots, you may find some hidden things that add excitement to this place.

1. San Bernardino County Museum

The San Bernardino County Museum, which shows you all kinds of cool stuff about Southern California’s background and culture, is first on the list. This isn’t just your normal museum; they have exhibits that really show off the area, that it has everything from ancient fossils that tell tales of eras way back when to things that are about the native people and the people who came here later.

Yet, what’s super special is that the museum is always freshening up with different stuff; it gives us a reason to stop by often. I actually went last fall, and so I checked out some cool artifacts and neat stuff. This place really tells so many tales about Southern California’s identity. It’s good for both the serious history buff and families that are trying to turn weekends into something exciting, it definitely doesn’t disappoint. And so, I recommend giving this site a visit when you’re kicking about in the area!

2. California Theatre of the Performing Arts

If live events are really more up your alley, like your really amazing theatrical ones and just fantastic musical evenings, then the California Theater of the Performing Arts will absolutely impress you so, too it’s the perfect location. It brings that grandeur of the 1920s, so it will kind of charm you from the instant you spot it.

We recently watched a Broadway musical that went on there, and that beautiful hall really enhanced the entire experience so, it’s just the most magical venue ever. That atmosphere adds excitement and refinement for every single concert and show. The California Theatre is a cornerstone, it does serve the community so, and makes performing art so accessible for many people.

There is always a constant flow of different performances. It doesn’t matter if it’s jazz, classical music, or a rock show; very do you actually want a place to dress up a little and simply enjoy being taken somewhere spectacular with an act?

Are you a bit more eager about actually local creative art? Well then, swing by the San Bernardino Art Association Gallery to see local artists. The display in here is pretty interesting and constantly changed up with paintings, sculptures and so it might make your visit worthwhile. With its display of visual creation, it really provides so a glimpse into local thoughts and style right now.

You might bump into the artist or join up during a show where you will get to discuss and know their ideas. We found this little show last year, and got some super great canvases! They have regular workshops. Very if it comes with wanting new inspiration or maybe trying something more novel creatively, it’s really more a social hub where anyone could have new insights and meet others with art obsessions!

Okay so, the Garcia Center for the Arts, dedicated more towards engaging San Bernardino’s community life and arts scene, is very crucial. Set on historical roots from that past Californian scene so, you will see cultural artworks, local history exhibits and so many special events.

You may like to see traditional arts. They could host all kinds of arts from dance, theatrical readings and so I had the luxury in witnessing that show; this area’s artistic soul blooms right here! The area has workshops for artists of varying ages and that helps it support everyone.

5. The Roosevelt Room

That place in the city will truly stand apart with The Roosevelt Room, and very much should attract people trying to look more to that place on art meets history. The site which sits inside an ancient place has a vintage mood from an age back when!

They’ll throw art displays so and have musical happenings, and so are giving locals access with a sophisticated but more social arts outlet. During that visit to a jazz gig with neighborhood musicians so, I truly could have not appreciated their spot! This location and design is for more people to unwind from culture.
