What’s the Big Deal with This Tour?

Hoover Dam tour
A visit to the iconic Hoover Dam.

Alright, you know, the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, and Seven Magic Mountains — it’s almost like seeing three totally different awesome things all rolled into one day trip. What’s typically happening, you depart from Las Vegas, and, so you see the vast natural beauty of the Canyon, then, so you see some crazy human design with the Dam, and you cap it off with these quirky, colorful art pieces out in the desert, is that right? A bit like getting three vacations in a single day!

The Grand Canyon Experience

Grand Canyon experience
Enjoying panoramic views at the Grand Canyon.

For a bunch of folks, seeing the Grand Canyon in person? Oh, that’s very hard to explain, and like your own experience, no picture quite gets how enormous it is. That’s how it usually is. Typically you’ll be going to the South Rim. That’s where you find those famous views, yet you may be asking what’s the appeal. The vastness is really just awesome, but like you said, it might be kind of crowded, depending on when you’re going, it’s almost like a popular concert. You might consider planning your tour during the off-season so there’s plenty of space. Maybe.

Hoover Dam: Engineering Marvel or Just a Big Dam?

Hoover Dam engineering
Marvel at the impressive engineering of the Hoover Dam.

Okay, that Hoover Dam? That’s very cool, alright? The Dam shows what humans can construct. People are like, wow, they actually did that?! Typically a tour might take you across the top of the Dam; the views are actually kind of stunning, a bit terrifying, if you aren’t keen on heights. They will show you how it makes energy and stop the river water so very clever, is that right?

Seven Magic Mountains: Instagram Gold or Just Rocks?

Okay, the Seven Magic Mountains. So this spot? It’s like your own Instagram dreams turned real, kind of. You get these stacks of big colorful rocks way out in the desert and, like, wow! The colors really pop against the boring desert background, but I will warn you: the mountains are on the side of the road, that, it is typically hot out there, and usually that quick photo opportunity is really all you have. You do know they are actually cool though, right?

Small Group: Why Smaller Is Actually Better

small group tour
Enjoying the sights with a smaller, more personal group.

So, you wonder why anyone would do a small group tour. Like your experiences? So that trip is a lot more cozy. On those bus trips with, like, fifty other folks, those are hard! Small group tours are actually much easier for asking questions and, arguably, hearing what the tour guide says, and it may get you extra time at spots because, basically, you aren’t waiting for that bunch to get back on board. In a way, a good amount of these tours is almost better to travel with just people that you’re good with anyway.
